Artimagem already started

Elapses since yesterday (15 of June) the Artimagem 2001 - Meeting of Arts, in Central Park, in V. N. Santo André. It is the first initiative of kind and with the objective to promote «an artistic alive patrimony, full of wealth and diversity». Close to 150 craftsman and 38 plastic artists compose the mega exposition, patent up to 24 of June. The organization is the position of the City Council of Santiago do Cacém, Town Council of Santo André and of the sculptor Henrique Silva.
The displayed Arts are so diverse as the painting, sculpture, plastic arts, the craft, the decorative arts, the installation and the drawing. The basic principle is to divulge the artists activity of the region, betting in the presentation of the same part in diverse phases of production, used raw materials and techniques. [...]»
